Lexington Cello Teacher Olivia Myers

Olivia Myers

Olivia is a Boston-based cellist and pedagogue and has just completed a Master of Music degree at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She works as a Teaching Assistant with the Boston String Academy and runs a private studio. As a performer, she has been recognized for her full sound and sensitive musicianship. Recent public performances include Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht with the Beacon Ensemble and the first movement of Dvorak’s Cello Concerto in B minor with the Boston Conservatory Conductor’s Orchestra. Olivia is involved with the DuBois Orchestra as a core cellist and is looking forward to starting her second season in the fall. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cello Performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University under the instruction of Professor Emilio Colón and completed her Master’s with Professor Rhonda Rider at the Boston Conservatory.
