Sicong Chen

Praised as “delivery was crisp, precise with feeling” by LSO News, International
Competition winner Sicong Chen has been an avid multi-genre musician steeped in
classical music.  Chen has appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras
worldwide, collaborating with world-renowned artists in various venues. Chen is
co-founder and violinist of the Aestas String Quartet, the first Graduate String
Quartet in Residence at Schwob School of Music, and Artist Ambassador of
Vargas Music Foundation. Recently, Chen has been pursuing a Doctor of Musical
Arts at Boston University under the direction of Prof. Peter Zazofsky, and has been
honored to join both the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and the Maestro
Musicians Academy faculty panel.
