Call for Teachers of all Instruments of Classical, Folk, and Jazz Music – Boston, MA

The Maestro Musicians Academy is calling for resumes and cover letters from instrumentalists and singers of classical, folk, and jazz genres. The Academy is a new school that serves the communities of Brookline, Lexington, Stoughton, Watertown, and West Newton.
minimum degree of bachelor of music in performance or music education is required for this position.  Applicants must be able to get to one of the locations above on a weekly basis and be ok with initially teaching a very small number of students per week since this is a brand new venture. It is anticipated that each teacher’s studio will grow over time. Please state in which location(s) you are able to teach on your application’s cover letter. 

Remuneration is $37-$45/hour based on the location.  Teachers must be able to commit to an 11-17 lesson per semester commitment per teacher and student. Applicants with prior experience teaching young children are given preference. The Maestro Musicians Academy is calling for resumes and cover letters from instrumentalists and singers of classical, folk, and jazz genres. The Academy is originally a Boston-based music school that has recently expanded to serve the Krieger Schechter Day School in Pikesville, Baltimore, at 8100 Stevenson Road.

A minimum degree of bachelor of music in performance or music education is required for this position. Applicants must be able to get to the location above and be comfortable teaching both private and group instruction. It is anticipated that each teacher’s studio will grow over time.

Remuneration is $34.5/hour for individual instruction and $37-$40/hour group instruction (based on enrollment numbers).  Starting the first Wednesday of January at 3:30 PM, teachers must be able to commit to a 14 lesson per semester commitment per teacher and student. Applicants with prior experience teaching young children are given preference. Call for Teacher of Classical, Folk, and/or Jazz Voice – Baltimore, MD

The Maestro Musicians Academy is calling for resumes and cover letters from singers of classical, folk, and jazz genres. The Academy is originally a Boston-based music school that has recently expanded to the Baltimore area and has now partnered with the St. Thomas Church in Towson (1108 Providence Road). 

A minimum degree of bachelor of music in performance or music education is required for this position. Applicants must be able to get to the location above and be comfortable teaching both private and group instruction. It is anticipated that each teacher’s studio will grow over time as this is a very new venture without any committed students (yet).
